Player must gather resources to survive, build a shelter, and defend against hunger, thirst, and predators.
The game features online and offline multiplayer modes.
It has been compared to the popular survival game Don't Starve.
Raft was a finalist for the "Best Multiplayer Game" category at the 2018 Game Awards.
The game has sold over 1 million copies.
A free update released in December 2018 added a new "endless" mode, as well as a new biome and new enemies.
